    Needs loving home and special attention

When her owner passed away and Shawney landed in the shelter, she captured our hearts with her sweet disposition.  Just look at her in the video below, and you'll see what we mean!  She needs a loving home where she can spend her golden years.  She is deaf and is happiest when she can see "her person. "  She's a perfect companion for someone who is retired or who works from home.  Shawney is housetrained,  knows the hand signal for "sit," is good with dogs and with cats, enjoys leisurely walks, and is easy to handle on leash. She enjoys the company of FOCAS foster dog, Chewy, who she currently shares a home with.  She is generous with her doggy kisses; can you be generous and offer her a home?  In addition to her own video here, she also makes a brief appearance in Chewy's video, on his FOCAS web page.
